A letter from our Director of Sisterhood
The foundation of Alpha Phi is rooted in our sisterhood. It’s what transforms sorority sisters into lifelong best friends, a strong support system, and a true home away from home.
During recruitment, I felt an immediate sense of belonging at the Nu chapter for many reasons, but what stood out most was the genuine connection I saw between everyone in the house. That sense of sisterhood has become my anchor throughout my college experience, offering support, comfort, and lasting friendships.
As Director of Sisterhood, I have the privilege of creating opportunities for our chapter to come together, share laughter, and strengthen the bonds that make our sisterhood so meaningful. Some of my favorite events have included our annual trip to Vala’s, sewing shirts, making door signs, and taking workout classes together. I also organize Big Little, one of the most special traditions of the year, where new members are welcomed into their “families” where they can have connections across all grades.
While these planned events are meaningful, they are simply an extension of the sisterhood we experience every day. Whether it’s spending time together in the house, studying in the backyard, or being there for one another when it matters most.
This sisterhood is something we will all carry with us long after graduation.
I am truly honored to serve in this role and help foster an environment where friendships can grow and every member feels supported and included. I’m beyond excited for all the memories and special moments we will create together this year!

BIG/ LITTLE REVEAL
There is nothing more comforting than knowing that if you ever need anything at all you have your Big to call on. Each of our new members is matched with a Big their freshman year. These older Alpha Phi's help guide their Littles through what can be a crazy four years of college. These bonds quickly turn into friendships that will last a lifetime along with many amazing memories together.
TRAVELS
Many of our members have a passion for traveling. Alpha Phis are always on the go and seeing new things, whether they are traveling around the world or just to a sister's hometown. If you are looking for a Spring Break companion to catch some rays with, a sister to accompany you on a mission trip, or a friend to make memories of a lifetime with studying abroad, you can find that in Alpha Phi.
